FedUni’s eBooks are provided by ProQuest eBook Central and are loaded into the Library catalogue. The Library only pays for titles that are used. To help the Library manage costs a price limit has been applied to ProQuest eBook Central. If a book you select is over that limit, automatic use of the book is disallowed – which is when you will be asked to fill in a form if you’d like to use the book.

Library staff will then assess the book’s suitability for inclusion in the collection. The Library may authorise a limited loan, or purchase the eBook for unlimited use; in some cases the Library may deny use of the requested book. You will receive an email, to the address entered in the form, letting you know the Library’s decision.
