Study spaces and computer labs
Federation University students can make use of comfortable afterhours study spaces at our various campuses including Ballarat (Mt. Helen, Camp Street, and SMB), Gippsland, Berwick, and Wimmera. There are also computer labs available including several that are open 24/7. The Ballarat and Gippsland afterhours study spaces include collaborative learning areas, computers, printing facilities, and a kitchenette and/or vending machine. Students can enter these spaces via swipe access using their student ID card.
Group discussion rooms
Federation University students can book a group discussion room online to work on a team assessment task, project, presentation or report. Rooms of different capacity can be booked for groups of between 3 to 6 students at all campuses.
Non-Federation University users are free to use other study spaces throughout the library.
