If you can log in to Moodle but are having trouble accessing one or more of our databases, work through the checklist below to see if the issue can be resolved.

  • Check your browser settings: Ensure your web browser is accepting cookies, as these are essential for Search to work properly.
  • Clear cache and cookies: If the problem persists, follow our Clear Cache and Cookies Guidelines.
  • Try a different browser: Use an alternative browser such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox.
  • Check your password: If you haven’t changed your password recently, try resetting it. After changing your password, wait 15 minutes before attempting to log in again.
  • Check saved passwords: You may have accidentally entered an incorrect password when logging into a database, and your browser may have saved it. Clearing your browser cache may help, but it doesn’t always remove stored passwords.
  • Check popup settings: Ensure that popup blockers are turned off, as they can interfere with database access.

If you are still having issues please contact the Library.
