Question
What is a Federation Alumni library membership?
Last updated: Jun 09, 2026 3886 viewsJust because you've left our University doesn't mean you lose the valuable resources of the University Library. Alumni Library membership allows you to borrow library items and access selected electronic resources. Membership is free.
Before you can register for a FedUni library alumni membership you need to join the Alumni scheme. General information about Alumni can be found at my Alumni Centre.
At Federation University Australia, alumni membership is free to any one or combination of the following:
- Graduates of Federation University Australia or an antecedent institution (ie students who have completed a course for which a sealed award is/was given, including Certificate I through to postgraduate qualifications);
- Past students of Federation University Australia or an antecedent institution who have completed a non-award short program;
- Individuals who have successfully completed a subject, unit or module of any Federation University Australia course (including current students);
- Current Federation University Australia staff members;
- Former staff members of Federation University Australia or an antecedent institution; and
- Friends of the University (eg current and past Council members, honorary doctorates etc)
