Those accessing the Collection have indicated that regular opening hours to provide ‘just in case’ access is not the preferred method of accessing the Centre.
Rather, their preference is to communicate their requirements prior to visiting at an agreed time.
This approach also enables us to undertake critical long-term preservation of the Collection – ensuring it can continue to be a resource for researchers for generations to come.
We continue to provide access to Collection items to university researchers, educators and students by appointment.
