Dropped half a litre of coffee on your laptop’s keyboard? Panic not, you can borrow one from the library to finish that urgent assignment.

What do you need?

All you need is your student ID card.

Where can you borrow a laptop?

Laptops can be borrowed from any campus library.

How does it work?

1. Tell one of our friendly staff behind the desk that you’d like to borrow a laptop. If it’s the first time you borrow a laptop, we’ll ask you to read and sign a laptop agreement. The agreement lists your obligations and responsibilities when borrowing a laptop. 

2. Sit somewhere comfortable anywhere on campus, turn the laptop on and log in with your student number and password. You must log on before leaving campus to ensure you can log on at home.

3. If you have any problems logging on, ask the library staff for help

Once you’ve logged in on campus, you’re good to go!

When will you need to return it?

You can borrow a laptop for 3 days.

If no one else needs the laptop, the laptop will automatically renew for 3 more days. After this, you’ll need to return the laptop to the library (at any campus).
