To borrow from FedUni Library you will need to have a student ID card. If you have a student ID card, you will need to enter your name and barcode to borrow books. If you don't have a student ID card, you will have to contact student administration to request one.
To do this, head to the Student ID cards webpage and click on the "CaptureMe Portal" link. Once you have uploaded your photo, your ID card will be ready to collect from your nominated campus location from 2pm on the following business day. See below for more information about ID card collection points:
- Gippsland – Student Hubs
- Off-campus/online - ID cards will be posted to students directly
- Horsham – Main reception
- Mt Helen – Student Administration (T building opposite the Library)
- SMB – Student Administration (D Building, Lydiard St. Sth.)
Alternatively, you can visit the Student Administration or Student Hub offices at your campus to have your photo taken and ID card printed on the spot.
To request books, go to the Library catalogue and select the book you wish to borrow. Click the blue "Request" button at the top of the screen and enter your name and barcode number. Then select "Eligible postal delivery" from the drop-down menu to have the book posted to you.
Please be aware that you will need to cover the cost of return postage.
